Based in Nairobi, PZGL is shaped by direct experience of Kenya's urban, coastal, transport and development contexts.
We assemble the research, technical skills and collaborators a brief requires, then translate complexity into a spatial direction that county and municipal governments, developers, infrastructure consultants, NGOs and research institutions can understand and act on.

Founder Profile
Ten years across planning, transport and infrastructure
Michael is an urban planning and transport professional with an RTPI-accredited MA in Town and Regional Planning and more than ten years of experience across complex transport and infrastructure environments.
His earlier work at Kenya Ports Authority developed a practical understanding of safety, coordination and infrastructure systems. Through PZGL Studios, that experience informs research, mobility thinking, maps, diagrams and stakeholder-ready planning material.
